Meet Your Doula, Tia

My connection to birth began long before I ever knew what a doula was. When I was five years old, my mom brought home a library video that explained everything — from fertilization all the way to birth. I remember being completely mesmerized. Something in me recognized birth as sacred, powerful, and deeply meaningful, even then.

 

For years, I thought I would become an OB-GYN, because I knew I wanted to support people through pregnancy and birth. But life gently guided me onto a different path. One that felt more intuitive, more heart-centered, and more aligned with who I am.

 

One day, I watched someone on YouTube share their birth experience with a doula by their side. I had never heard of a doula before, but as I listened, something clicked. This was the kind of support I had always envisioned giving. Emotional, physical, informational, and deeply human support. Support that honors intuition, body wisdom, and the spiritual side of birth.

 

But the journey wasn’t immediate. I took a long break. I tried other jobs. I explored different paths. And yet, no matter what I did, everything kept leading me back to birth work. It was like the calling refused to let go  and eventually, I stopped trying to go around it and decided to honor it fully.

 

That’s when I began my training and became a Full Spectrum Doula, supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.

 

My approach blends grounding, emotional presence, intuitive guidance, and evidence-based care. I’m here to walk beside you — not to lead, not to control, but to support your unfolding and honor your unique story.

 

Birth has always been part of my path. Now, I’m grateful to offer this work to those who feel called to journey with me.
